About the Foundation
Umuohie-Ukwu/Umukabi Medical Centre (UUMC) is established under the Chief Michael I. Eziakonwa Foundation — a foundation driven by a deep passion to democratize healthcare access in Ngor Okpala and the surrounding communities of Imo State.
We believe that quality healthcare is not a privilege for the few, but a right for every person regardless of their economic status. Through state-of-the-art facilities, a team of dedicated medical professionals and a compassionate approach to patient care, we are committed to fulfilling this vision — one patient at a time.
Medics (OPD)
Diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Our doctors carry out thorough consultations, prescribe medication and manage patient health effectively.
Surgery
Running surgical operations including general surgery, obstetric surgery and emergency surgical procedures in our fully equipped operating theatres.
Laboratory
Full laboratory testing services including blood tests, cultures, urinalysis, histology and other diagnostic tests to support accurate medical diagnosis.
Pharmacy
Issuing prescribed drugs and providing pharmaceutical care. Our fully stocked pharmacy ensures every patient receives the right medication promptly.
Cashier / Billing
Our cashier unit handles all billing and financial transactions, ensuring transparent, accurate and timely processing of all patient account matters.
Optician
Eye care services provided by our qualified optician, including vision testing, eye examinations and prescription of corrective lenses and eyewear.
